Worms 3D is yet another worms game created by Team 17. This weapons rich worms game features animated worms doing battle with one another in bright, color-rich environments. Did we mention that the weapons are some of the most unique and bizarre weapons around? Worms 3D is a turn-based game meaning, the flow of the game is partitioned into precise and visible parts called turns or rounds.
Here’s how Team 17 worms games work: each player in the game controls a small platoon of animated worms. The platoons battle other computer-controlled worms or player controlled worms across a reshapable landscape. Although the game is war-based, the animation is humorous. During the course of the game players take turns choosing their worms and whatever tools and weapons they prefer in order to kill the opponents worms. Once they kill all of the opponents’ worms, they win the game. The worms move about by walking, jumping, bungee jumping, and by using ninja ropes. The players have to think fast because each move is timed. The players can’t waste time thinking, if they do – they are out of the game!

So how do worm’s get killed or die? The worms die when:
- A worm’s health is reduced to zero
- A worm enters the water by falling off the island or through a hole
- A worm is thrown off of either side of the arena
Team 17 worms games like Worms 3D, feature dozens of weapons at the player’s disposal. Many of these weapons are either inside jokes or inspired by popular TV programs and movies.
