One of our readers from South Florida wrote to us about red and brown worms that show up on her porch after it rains. She said that as the porch dries out, the worms will either disappear or they will dry up and die. She is curious as to what they are and how she can prevent this from happening again. She did not send a picture along with the email so it is difficult for us to know exactly what type of worm she has at her house. It is a definite possibility that it could be earthworms that are on her porch after the rain.
