“I found these worms in our towel closet in the restroom”, writes this reader about the near-transparent, worm-like creature pictured below. “I then washed all of the linens and towels that were in the closet and sprayed down the whole closet. Looking for the source of the worms. So far I have not found that source but I have identified a couple of things that I believe to be eggs. I also then found the same worms coming from the seam of my dresser, and I have not looked anywhere else yet, but I would like some help please thank you.”

“What is this?” asks this reader about the semi-transparent worm-like organism pictured below. “I was in my house and it was on the back of my neck. I have pets and I am disgusted.” Based on the shape and features of this creature, we would say that it is definitely an insect larva of some kind, though what species in particular we are not sure. The black tip and tapered shape of its body reminds us of a black soldier fly larvae, yet the transparent nature of its skin suggests otherwise. Based on that, we would say it is likely that it is some kind of fly larva.

“What are these worms? What should I do about this?” asks this reader about the transparent worms she and her sister found on their bed. After cleaning their room and killing insects that they found, our reader discovered no possible cause for the presence of these insects.

“I was folding some laundry and found some super small worms in some of my shirts,” this reader says. The small worms in question appear to be translucent, with long, black entrails extending the length of their bodies.
