Organisms in Hair, Face and Stomach Plague Mother for Eight Years Who Seeks Help

“Please help, I’ve been plagued by this for eight years!” states this reader in her submission to us. “I lost my hair. It’s in my nose, mouth, ears, eyes, and stomach. I’ve lost my children because they said I had delusional parasitosis? Psychosis? Four psych wards and hospitals till this day and they can’t even give me a lice check? I want to be healthy, I want my children back and tested. And I want to SUE! Please tell me what this is and how to make it go away. Thank you.”

No pictures are attached to the submission, though we appreciate the amount of context that was given. We also want to express our sympathy for our reader, who is clearly having a hard time dealing with these issues. On that note, it is not entirely clear what it is she is facing and what she wants us to identify. Nonetheless, we will unfortunately not be able to identify the organisms either way. The reason for this is that she explicitly states that the organisms are in her body. As such, we must assume that the situation is potentially medical in nature. Since we are not medical professionals, we are not qualified, nor legally able, to identify any organisms that may pose a threat to someone’s health, or that may be affecting their health in any way.

What we can do is point our reader in the direction of medical professionals who are qualified and equipped to diagnose her issue. We specifically recommend consulting a medical parasitologist when it comes to discovering any organism that is invading or coming from one’s body. Unlike a primary care doctor, ER doctor, or, in our reader’s case, a psychologist, a medical parasitologist is actually trained in the field of parasitology and is thus equipped to diagnose and treat concerns about potential parasites. To find a medical parasitologist, our reader can do one or more of the following:
1) Search for a medical parasitologist in their area using this directory of medical parasitology consultants: https://www.astmh.org/for-astmh-members/clinical-consultants-directory.
2) Search for a local parasitologist by doing a Google search for “medical parasitologist (name of the closest big city)” or “tropical medicine specialist (name of the closest big city)”.
3) Get in touch with Dr. Omar Amin at the Parasitology Center at https://www.parasitetesting.com.

To conclude, we are not legally able to identify whatever organisms have been plaguing our reader for eight years. We wish we could do more, but we hope that the resources listed above prove helpful, and that our reader finds the answers she is looking for soon. We wish her the very best.

  1. Yes get tested for spiral bacteria it could be h.pylori or Lyme or crypto believe me i was like no way but come to find out it does a lot of the weird stuff we’ve all gone through

  2. I suffered from similar symptoms for many years, and I too battled with people exchanging looks behind my back when I described my symptoms. After many years of pain, expense and isolation, I was tested for mold allergy and the tests came back positive for six virulent strains. It seems I am deficient in a gene that enables me to combat mold and when my immune system is stressed, it gets a good grip on me and I can not fight it. What was a periodic problem in my twenties became a constant problem in my 60’s. I finally found help with a functional doctor and mold testing. I think it would also be helpful to be tested for Lyme Disease, which presents in many strange ways, even as Morgellons disease when it is advanced.

Good luck, I believe you and my heart goes out to you.
